Enhanced Windows Search on Copilot Plus PCs
Semantic Indexing for Smarter Search
The new Windows Search integrates semantic indexing, allowing the system to comprehend the meaning behind words and phrases. This means users no longer need to remember exact file names or content. Instead, they can use descriptive phrases like “bridge at sunset” or “Europe trip budget” to find relevant files or images directly from the taskbar search box.
Additionally, the feature supports natural language queries for system settings, making it easier to navigate complex configurations.
